Terms of Use

Fewer is intended only for adults aged 18 or older.

By using Fewer, you confirm that:

• you are at least 18 years old;
• you can legally enter into an agreement;
• the information you provide is truthful and belongs to you;
• you are not prohibited by law from using the service;
• you have not previously been removed from Fewer for safety or serious misconduct.

We may ask members to verify their age, identity, location, or other account information. We may refuse, restrict, or remove access where information appears false, misleading, incomplete, or inconsistent.

Fewer is not currently available everywhere. Access may depend on location, eligibility, capacity, or the stage of our launch.

Joining the waiting list expresses interest in Fewer but does not guarantee:

• access to the service;
• access by a particular date;
• availability in your city or country;
• an introduction to another member;
• any particular product features or price.

We may use the information you provide to understand demand, determine launch locations, contact you about access, and improve the early Fewer experience.

Where you separately consent to receive automated text messages, we may send launch information and related updates to the number you provide. Consent to promotional text messages is optional and is not required simply to join the waiting list.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may withdraw SMS consent by following the instructions in a message, such as replying STOP, or through another method we make available.

Fewer is a matchmaking service designed to help adults decide whom it may be worthwhile to meet.

Depending on the version of the service available to you, Fewer may include:

• guided voice or text conversations;
• questions about your values, intentions, preferences, experiences, and relationship patterns;
• summaries or interpretations based on what you tell us;
• a limited number of potential introductions;
• explanations of why an introduction may be worth considering;
• tools for reflecting before or after a meeting;
• communication features between members;
• research, feedback, or early-access experiences.

Fewer is not a therapist, medical provider, emergency service, background-check provider, or professional relationship adviser.

Fewer may use automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to interpret information you share with us.

These systems may generate summaries, observations, or inferences about matters such as:

• your values;
• relationship intentions;
• communication preferences;
• lifestyle;
• interpersonal patterns;
• the qualities you consider important in a relationship;
• the kinds of introductions that may be worth exploring.

These outputs are interpretations, not objective facts or diagnoses.

Where the product allows it, you should review this information and correct, remove, or challenge anything that does not feel accurate. We may also update our understanding as you provide new information.

Fewer should not be treated as knowing you better than you know yourself.

Fewer may use information from two or more members to decide whether an introduction appears worth exploring.

An introduction means only that we believe there may be a meaningful reason for two people to meet. It does not mean that:

• the members are objectively compatible;
• attraction or chemistry will exist;
• either person will accept the introduction;
• a date or relationship will follow;
• the information provided by another member is complete or accurate;
• a relationship will be safe, successful, healthy, or lasting.

Fewer cannot predict love or determine what two people will build together.

You remain responsible for deciding whether to accept an introduction, communicate with another member, meet in person, or continue any relationship.

When accounts become available, you agree to:

• create only one personal account;
• provide accurate and current information;
• keep your access credentials secure;
• use the account only for yourself;
• notify us if you suspect unauthorized access;
• update information that becomes materially inaccurate.

You may not create an account for another person, impersonate someone else, misrepresent your identity, or use another member's account.

Fewer is built for people who want to meet with intention, honesty, and respect.

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, stalk, shame, manipulate, or intimidate anyone;
• discriminate against or dehumanize another person;
• pressure anyone into communication, a meeting, intimacy, or a relationship;
• send sexually explicit material without clear consent;
• share another person's private information or communications without permission;
• record calls, conversations, or meetings without any consent required by law;
• impersonate another person;
• provide deliberately false information about your identity, age, intentions, location, or relationship status;
• solicit money, investments, gifts, commercial services, or financial information;
• use Fewer for prostitution, trafficking, exploitation, or other unlawful activity;
• use Fewer primarily for recruitment, advertising, research, scraping, or commercial prospecting.

A member's acceptance of an introduction does not imply consent to anything else.

Meeting another member in person involves risks that no digital service can eliminate.

You are responsible for your own decisions and safety. Consider taking reasonable precautions, including:

• meeting in a public place;
• telling someone where you are going;
• arranging your own transportation;
• protecting your home address and financial information;
• leaving if you feel uncomfortable;
• contacting local emergency services where immediate help is needed.

Fewer does not routinely conduct criminal, identity, financial, or psychological background checks unless we clearly say otherwise.

We may introduce identity or safety checks, but no check can guarantee that another person is trustworthy or safe.

"Your Content" includes information you provide through Fewer, such as:

• waiting-list responses;
• written answers;
• voice recordings and transcripts;
• photographs;
• profile information;
• feedback;
• messages;
• reports;
• corrections to generated summaries.

You remain responsible for Your Content.

You confirm that:

• you have the right to provide it;
• it is not unlawfully obtained;
• it does not violate another person's rights;
• it does not contain illegal or harmful material;
• any information about another identifiable person is shared lawfully and appropriately.

Please avoid sharing unnecessary information about former partners, family members, or other identifiable people.

You grant Fewer a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, process, reproduce, adapt, and display Your Content only as reasonably necessary to:

• provide the service;
• generate your experience and introductions;
• maintain security;
• investigate reports;
• comply with legal obligations;
• improve the service where permitted by our Privacy Policy and your choices.

This permission does not transfer ownership of Your Content to Fewer.

It ends when the relevant content or account is deleted, except where limited retention is reasonably necessary for legal, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, or technical-backup purposes.

We will not use your image, voice, story, or private communications in public advertising without separate permission.

Fewer may use feedback, aggregated information, and appropriately protected usage data to understand whether the service works and how it can improve.

Personal conversations, recordings, sensitive inferences, or private messages should not be used to train or improve general-purpose systems unless this is clearly explained and there is an appropriate legal basis or consent.

The details of how information is used, retained, and protected must be described in the Fewer Privacy Policy. Overtone similarly separates its account terms from detailed rules governing voice recordings, sensitive inferences, automated matching, retention, and training. Fewer should maintain the same separation while adopting its own privacy position.

Some parts of Fewer may be produced or influenced by automated systems rather than reviewed individually by a person.

Automated systems may help:

• transcribe conversations;
• summarize information;
• identify possible relationship signals;
• rank or select possible introductions;
• generate explanations;
• detect abuse, fraud, or safety risks;
• decide when an introduction should be offered.

Automated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or affected by the information members choose to provide.

Where required by applicable law, Fewer will provide information about profiling and meaningful automated decision-making, together with any applicable rights. European data-protection guidance treats profiling as automated analysis of personal information concerning aspects such as behaviour, preferences, and interests.

We may review, restrict, remove, or preserve content and accounts where reasonably necessary to:

• enforce these Terms;
• protect members or other people;
• investigate a report;
• prevent fraud or abuse;
• comply with law;
• maintain the integrity of the service.

Possible actions include:

• issuing a warning;
• limiting features;
• pausing introductions;
• removing content;
• suspending an account;
• permanently terminating access;
• reporting conduct to relevant authorities where legally required or reasonably necessary.

We are not obligated to disclose sensitive safety information, internal detection methods, or information that could compromise another person's rights or an investigation.

Before launch, Fewer should also implement a clear reporting and appeal process. EU online-platform rules include transparency and notice-and-action obligations that may become relevant depending on Fewer's final product and legal classification.

You may not:

• scrape, harvest, download, or collect member data;
• access Fewer through unauthorized automation;
• reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, models, prompts, ranking logic, or security systems;
• bypass access controls or safety restrictions;
• test vulnerabilities without written permission;
• introduce malware or harmful code;
• overload or interfere with the service;
• create accounts to evade restrictions;
• use Fewer data to build competing profiles, datasets, models, or services.

Fewer and its associated software, branding, interfaces, written material, designs, processes, models, and technology belong to us or our licensors.

These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use Fewer for its intended purpose.

They do not give you permission to copy, modify, sell, distribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit Fewer or its intellectual property.

Fewer may rely on third-party services for matters such as:

• hosting;
• analytics;
• communications;
• SMS delivery;
• payment processing;
• transcription;
• artificial intelligence;
• moderation;
• identity or age checks;
• customer support.

Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.

We are not responsible for an independent third-party service that you choose to access outside Fewer.

Fewer may initially be free, invite-only, or available through limited testing.

If paid services are introduced, we will explain before purchase:

• what is included;
• the price;
• the billing period;
• whether the service renews automatically;
• how to cancel;
• any applicable refund or withdrawal rights.

Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot legally be waived. EU rules impose specific requirements for contracts involving digital services, which should be reviewed once Fewer's commercial model and launch jurisdictions are decided.

Fewer is under development.

Features may be experimental, incomplete, unavailable, changed, paused, or discontinued. We may limit access by geography, capacity, eligibility, or membership type.

We will try to communicate material changes reasonably, but we do not promise that every feature will remain available.

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by the Fewer Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy should explain, among other things:

• who controls the information;
• what information is collected;
• why it is used;
• how voice and transcripts are handled;
• what sensitive inferences may be generated;
• which service providers receive information;
• how long information is retained;
• whether information is used for system training;
• how members may access, correct, delete, export, or object to processing;
• how international transfers are handled.

The Privacy Policy must be completed before any real public collection of phone numbers, relationship information, voice recordings, or other personal data.

Fewer may offer questions, observations, or guidance designed to encourage reflection.

This content is general and does not constitute:

• psychotherapy;
• mental-health treatment;
• medical advice;
• legal advice;
• safety certification;
• crisis support;
• professional counselling.

Do not rely on Fewer in place of a qualified professional where professional assistance is appropriate.

To the extent permitted by law, Fewer is provided on an "as available" basis.

We do not promise that:

• the service will always be available or error-free;
• generated summaries will always be accurate;
• an introduction will be accepted;
• another member's information will be complete or truthful;
• an introduction will result in attraction, a date, or a relationship;
• another member will behave safely or appropriately;
• use of Fewer will produce any particular personal outcome.

Nothing in these Terms excludes obligations or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Fewer is not responsible for losses caused by:

• decisions made independently by members;
• conduct between members on or off the service;
• inaccurate information provided by a member;
• unauthorized access caused by a member's failure to protect their account;
• third-party services outside our reasonable control;
• indirect or unforeseeable losses.

The final liability language, financial cap, exclusions, and consumer protections must be drafted after the operating company, governing law, pricing model, and launch markets are known.

You may stop using Fewer and request deletion of your account in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate access where:

• you violate these Terms;
• you create a safety or legal risk;
• your information appears fraudulent;
• continued access could harm another person or the service;
• we discontinue the service;
• we are legally required to do so.

Where appropriate and legally required, we will explain the principal reason and provide a way to challenge the decision.

We may update these Terms as Fewer develops.

Before public launch, any material changes should be communicated through an appropriate method, such as an in-product notice, text message, or email.

Continued use after updated Terms take effect may constitute acceptance where legally permitted. Where new consent is legally required, we will request it separately.

• the country in which the operating company is incorporated;
• the member's location;
• applicable consumer-protection laws;
• whether Fewer launches in the European Union, United Kingdom, United States, or elsewhere.

The final version should not adopt US arbitration, class-action waiver, New York jurisdiction, or similar provisions unless they are deliberately selected and reviewed for Fewer's actual operating model.
